John Mayall with Mick Taylor
I would like to offer these recordings that might give you an idea of the guitar sound that caught Bob's ear . 1982 - 1984 audience recordings of the Bluesbreakers are often better than the soundboard ones because the guitar was not mixed through the board. But that depends on what you want to hear - if the choice comes down to John's voice or Mick's guitar, I'll listen for the guitar every time.
We could start a chain or just request & re-offer when you feel ready. Somebody send me an address & I'll put these in the mail. 3 CDRs.

Taylor pre-Bob
Yes - open & will be mailed when I have an address.
It's interesting how both John & Bob have had high quality musicians eager to play in their bands. And they all come away with good things to say about the experience.
And the road goes on . . .

Sorry, forgot to post that the discs have arrived - quite a while back, speedily sent. They're really good, I love that stuff.
Many thanks, notes.
